Our captains bring decades of combined experience on the waters of Brunswick County and beyond. Each one is licensed, insured, and obsessed with putting you on the fish.
Owner & Captain
With over 20 years of charter boat experience, Captain Kevin learned the trade from his father Rodney and grandfather Bill Sneed, starting his fishing journey at age two. He holds a US Coast Guard 100-Ton Master's Endorsement and is CPR/First Aid certified.

Captain Will grew up fishing the inshore and nearshore waters of Holden Beach. During high school, he lived overseas in Thailand and Abu Dhabi, expanding his fishing experience internationally — from Mekong catfish and Arapaima to queen fish and trevally.

Captain JP grew up fishing the waterways and nearshore wrecks of Carolina and Kure Beach. With decades of experience in fresh and saltwater fishing, he specializes in King mackerel year-round and bluefin tuna during winter months.
First Mate
Jack Watson, First Mate for Rigged and Ready, is a dedicated young angler and a proud native of Holden Beach. Named the 2024 Cape Lookout Shootout's Junior Angler of the Year, Jack has already made a strong name for himself on the water. When he's not in school, you can almost always find him fishing, sharpening his skills, and gaining experience beyond his years. Known for his strong work ethic and positive attitude, Jack goes above and beyond to ensure every charter is both enjoyable and memorable for guests, making him an invaluable part of the crew.
