What are your hours?

The bait & tackle shop is open 7 days a week, 7 AM to 7 PM. We're at 1096-7 Sabbath Home Rd in Supply, NC — right on the way to Holden Beach.

What kind of live bait do you carry?

We stock live shrimp, mullet, menhaden, and mud minnows when available, plus a full selection of frozen bait — squid, cigar minnows, ballyhoo, you name it. Stock rotates daily based on what's running. Call ahead if you need something specific.

Question 3

Do you sell fishing licenses?

Yes. We sell NC coastal recreational fishing licenses right here at the counter — short-term and annual. Bring your ID. We can also help you figure out what license you actually need.

Do you sell ice?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely — bagged ice and block ice. Grab a cooler while you're here if you forgot yours.

Do you clean fish?

We don't have a cleaning station at the shop, but our charter customers get fish cleaning included with every trip. For walk-ins, we'll point you to the nearest cleaning stations on Holden Beach and Oak Island.

What brands do you carry?

We're an authorized Shimano Top Shelf Dealer — home of the legendary Talica line — and we carry Penn, Star Rods, Daiwa, AFTCO, Costa, Yeti, and a long list of local favorites. If you don't see it, ask — we can usually order it fast.

Can you build custom rigs?

Yes — we tie custom rigs right here in the shop. Tell us what you're fishing for and we'll build it while you wait or have it ready for pickup.

Can I book a charter at the shop?

You can, but it's faster to book online through FareHarbor — we'll send you a link or you can tap "Book a Charter" on any page of the site. Walk in and we'll happily talk you through options and availability.

What's included on a charter?

Accepted Answer

Everything you need to fish: first-class rods, reels, tackle, ice, and fish cleaning. Bring a hat, sunscreen, food, drinks, and a camera. Full charter details and pricing are on the Charters page.

Do you buy used gear?

Accepted Answer

We don't run a regular consignment program, but if you've got something you think we'd be interested in, bring it by — worst case, we'll tell you what it's worth.
